Seated within the iconic walls of London’s National Theatre, Lasdun is a modern British restaurant from the team behind The Marksman Public House in Hackney.
Serving elegant brasserie-style food inspired by seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, the restaurant offers a beautiful setting for indulging in exquisite meals before catching a world-class performance or relaxing after a walk along the South Bank.

Nestled between the Olivier, Lyttelton and Dorfman theatres, our South Bank restaurant stands as a testament to Sir Denys Lasdun’s visionary modernist design. Choose from our a la carte, set, or feasting menus, designed by chefs Tom Harris and Jon Rotherham.

Monday to Saturday 5pm - 10pm (kitchen 5pm until 9.15pm)
Wednesday to Saturday 12pm - 2pm
Sunday closed
Lasdun is one of the restaurants near the National Theatre, situated just a two-minute walk from BFI and a 12-minute walk from The Old Vic.
We can be found through our Thames facing entrance along the South Bank or through the main entrance of the National Theatre and onwards to the Upper Ground Floor, where our porthole style door invites you in.
